We have only recently heard that our Post Office in the village will close permanently on October 13th with the retirement of Mr John Ashton, who for many years has provided an excellent service to the Village.

From Tuesday 12th October, villagers will be able to collect their medicines from Ruth at ‘StyleCare Hair and Beauty’ (next to the Co-op) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Our grateful thanks to Ruth for providing a new collection site for us in the village.

Please always try to collect your medicines as soon as possible .
